Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier/Sales Clerk to join our team at a leading furniture showroom in Lekki. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions efficiently, maintain accurate cash records, and provide excellent service to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries or purchases
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
- Receive cash, debit, or transfer payments and issue receipts
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area
- Reconcile daily cash and sales reports
- Support sales staff with price checks, stock information, and general assistance
- Handle customer complaints or refer complex issues to the manager
- Assist in stock counting and display arrangement when required
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Cashier, Sales Clerk, or Front Desk Attendant is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of computer and POS operations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Trustworthy, polite, and customer-oriented
Compensation
N150,000 - N180,000 per month with attractive and competitive salary including performance-based incentives.
