Job Summary

Aniso Specialist Medical Centre is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to handle daily transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and support smooth billing operations. The ideal candidate must be computer-literate and able to follow instructions and prompts accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, POS, and transfer payments for patients and issue receipts promptly
• Record all transactions accurately in the hospital's billing and accounting software
• Reconcile daily collections and prepare end-of-day summaries
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accountability of funds
• Assist in billing processes and collaborate with front desk and records staff
• Ensure compliance with hospital financial policies and procedures
• Report discrepancies or irregularities immediately to the supervisor
• Maintain a professional attitude and provide courteous service to all patients

Requirements

• Minimum of OND or HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous experience as a cashier or accounts clerk (advantageous)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High computer literacy – ability to use billing software, Microsoft Excel, and POS systems efficiently
• Ability to follow instructions and on-screen prompts carefully
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and integrity
• Must reside in Lagos
