About the Role

Castville Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a reputable healthcare client for an experienced Business Unit Lead to join their Vendor Managed Inventory Unit. The successful candidate will oversee inventory management, warehouse operations, data accuracy, demand planning inputs, and stakeholder communication. This role requires strong expertise in supply chain operations, data-driven management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

• Lead daily operations across inventory and warehouse units
• Oversee stock receiving, shelving, binning, and stock issuance to ensure accuracy and minimal shrinkage
• Maintain clean and optimized storage layout using proper warehousing standards (FEFO/FIFO, labeling, bin integrity)
• Ensure timely stock reconciliation, variance investigation, and corrective action

Performance Management

Track and manage inventory performance using key performance indicators:

• Stock Accuracy (%)
• Inventory Turnover Ratio
• Stockout Rate
• Order Fulfilment Cycle Time
• Days of Inventory on Hand (DOH)
• Shrinkage/Loss Rate (%)

Supply Chain Management & Demand Planning

• Monitor consumption trends to support accurate demand forecasting
• Ensure data completeness for supply planning and replenishment cycles
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on stock availability, lead times, and reorder triggers
• Optimize stock levels to reduce wastage while preventing stockouts

Supply Chain Metrics Oversight

Track and monitor key supply chain metrics:

• Reorder Point (ROP) compliance
• Supplier Lead Time & delays
• Material Availability Ratio
• Cycle Time for Replenishment

Data Management & Reporting

• Supervise the data entry team responsible for uploading daily prescription, dispensing, and consumption data
• Implement strict data quality checks to ensure accuracy needed for forecasting and billing
• Review and validate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
