Job Purpose
As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, promoting the company's fleet and manpower outsourcing solutions, and building strong client relationships. Your primary goal will be to drive sales efforts, achieve targets, and contribute to the company's growth by understanding client needs and proposing tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients through various channels and engage them to introduce the company's services
- Actively communicate and follow up with clients to build and maintain long-term relationships
- Create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients, highlighting the benefits of the company's services
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets set by the company
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors within the fleet management and outsourcing industry
- Analyse market data and contribute to developing effective business strategies
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Ensure proper contract management and adherence to agreed terms
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, targets achieved, and challenges faced
Required Qualifications and Experience
- B.Sc. Degree or HND
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably in the fleet management and outsourcing industry
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with market research and analysis
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good knowledge and awareness of the market
- Knowledge of business development and identification of opportunities that align with organizational aspirations and vision
