About the Role
BOGO Beverages is recruiting a Business Development Manager to lead market expansion and drive business growth across the Delta region. This is a strategic position responsible for developing regional business plans, managing distributor networks, and overseeing P&L performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional business plans covering Delta
- Drive market expansion by onboarding and managing distributors and wholesalers across assigned territories
- Own and manage the Business Development Area (BDA) P&L for all three locations
- Embed a strong performance management culture within the sales team
- Oversee credit risk management and ensure compliance with company policies
- Champion flawless in-trade execution across all channels
- Manage and safeguard trade assets within assigned BDAs
- Strengthen customer relationships through inventory management, profitability optimization, and van sales coaching
- Recruit, train, coach, and manage the sales team to consistently deliver on targets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (MBA is an added advantage)
- Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in the Wine & Spirits industry
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets across multiple territories
- Strong capability to position and differentiate products in competitive markets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Must reside in Delta
