## Title: Business Development Manager – ATM Cards

Job Summary

PalmPay is seeking a proactive and performance-driven Field Sales Business Development Manager to drive the adoption of our ATM Card solutions and onboard agents to enable market expansion. The ideal candidate is a strategic sales professional with a deep understanding of Nigeria's retail, SME, and informal markets.

Key Responsibilities

Agent Acquisition & Activation

  • Identify and onboard agents across markets and key informal sectors
  • Promote PalmPay's ATM Card payment adoption
  • Educate agents on transaction processes, benefits, and settlement terms
  • Ensure successful agent activation and early transaction ramp-up

Field Sales Execution

  • Conduct physical sales visits, product demonstrations, and onboarding sessions
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective merchants and partners
  • Collect market intelligence and provide feedback to improve product-market fit

Team Coordination & Agent Oversight

  • Work with and supervise field sales agents to expand the merchant network
  • Ensure targets are met through training, motivation, and field support

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance using CRM tools
  • Report on acquisition metrics, transaction growth, and activation success rates
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve field strategy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline
  • 2 years' experience in fintech, payments, or merchant/agent services sales
  • Proven ability to execute merchant acquisition and field sales strategies
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Experience managing field teams and working toward targets
  • Deep knowledge of local market dynamics and payment behavior
