## Title: Business Development Manager
About TAG Energy Nigeria Limited
TAG Energy is an integrated service company offering a comprehensive range of oilfield products and support services in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Research organizations to identify new business opportunities and develop a thorough understanding of their products and services
- Act as subject matter expert on all company products and services
- Liaise with OEMs and customers to organize meetings, presentations, and training sessions
- Identify and develop new markets to improve overall sales performance
- Train personnel and support team members in developing their professional skills
- Set achievable goals for the business development team and ensure targets are met
- Think strategically by seeing the bigger picture and setting clear aims and objectives to develop and improve the business
- Execute strategic planning to implement necessary operational changes
- Generate leads and conduct outreach to prospective customers
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Prepare business proposals and develop strategic plans
- Monitor industry trends both locally and internationally
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of business development or sales experience with relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in sales, marketing, or related field
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency
- Ability to manage complex projects and multitask effectively
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work proactively with minimal guidance and handle uncertainty
