## Title: Business Development Manager

About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth, cultivate key relationships, and identify new business opportunities in alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Growth

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships in alignment with company goals
  • Lead market analysis, trend forecasting, and competitor intelligence to guide decision-making and strategy formulation
  • Develop and implement growth strategies that increase revenue, market share, and brand visibility
  • Prepare comprehensive business plans, concept notes, and investment proposals to support expansion efforts

Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure long-term business engagement
  • Manage the entire business development cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and networking events to promote brand reputation and build visibility

Proposal & Contract Management

  • Oversee the preparation of bids, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other business documentation
  • Ensure the timely and compliant submission of proposals that meet client specifications and company standards
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing models, and partnership terms that are commercially viable and mutually beneficial

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Legal teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives
  • Provide business intelligence and advisory support to internal teams to align their work with corporate growth targets
  • Support management in identifying process gaps and implementing solutions to improve operational efficiency

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of business development initiatives
  • Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and forecasts for management
