## Title: Business Development Manager

About the Role

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in a dynamic healthcare organization. You will drive business expansion across assigned regions, lead high-value negotiations, and manage regional teams to achieve ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive aggressive revenue growth across assigned regions
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Lead high-value negotiations, institutional sales, and strategic partnerships

Market Expansion

  • Identify new business opportunities in public and private healthcare institutions
  • Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies

Tender & Proposal Management

  • Lead preparation and submission of tenders, proposals, and institutional quotations
  • Manage complex sales cycles with hospitals, laboratories, and government institutions

Team & Regional Leadership

  • Supervise regional business development teams
  • Recruit, mentor, and coach Business Development Officers
  • Monitor team performance and ensure target achievement

Client & Account Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key institutional clients
  • Act as senior point of contact for high-value accounts
  • Ensure excellent service delivery and after-sales support

Reporting & Compliance

  • Submit weekly and monthly sales and activity reports to Head Office (Lagos)
  • Oversee payment follow-ups and ensure timely invoice collections
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and accountability

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of HND or Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven experience in senior business development or sales leadership roles
  • Healthcare sales experience strongly preferred, including:
    • Medical equipment
    • Laboratory supplies
    • Pharmaceutical sales
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and strategic planning skills
  • Experience managing regional teams and institutional clients
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
