## Title: Business Development Lead

Job Summary

A reputable organization seeks a Business Development Lead to drive the company's growth agenda by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding client relationships. This role requires a commercially minded leader with strong business acumen who can balance hands-on deal execution with high-level growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of business development and marketing strategies to secure new clients, partnerships, and revenue streams
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across target industries and service areas
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate the business development team to achieve and exceed set targets
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide growth strategy, positioning, and marketing initiatives
  • Partner with Services and Agency Operations teams to develop tailored proposals, pitches, and campaigns
  • Drive end-to-end client engagement from prospecting through negotiation, deal closure, onboarding, and long-term relationship management
  • Track, analyze, and report on business development performance, conversion rates, and market insights to inform decision-making
  • Represent the company at key industry events, networking forums, and business meetings to strengthen visibility and positioning
  • Support senior leadership in identifying new markets, products, and service opportunities to diversify revenue streams

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, marketing, or growth strategy
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and building long-term partnerships
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Track record of exceeding business development or sales targets
  • Experience in the media, consulting, or related industries
