Business Development and Partnership Manager at Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF)

About the Role

Lindii Peace Foundation is seeking a dedicated Business Development and Partnership Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. Working under the supervision of the Country Director, you will be responsible for managing donor funding relationships, developing strategic alliances, and overseeing grant programs to ensure compliance and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development & Management

• Conduct and maintain donor/partner mapping and a partnership database that identifies funding support and partner capacity, influence, and strategic alignment with LPF programming
• Lead the donor selection process, partner selection, and due diligence activities, including meetings, donor audits, and assessments
• Support partner selection processes for national NGOs, including local authority liaisons as needed
• Draft and manage partnership documentation including Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), agreements, and budgets
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with Donors, UN Agencies, International Organizations, National NGOs, and Civil Society Organizations

Grant & Funding Management

• Monitor funding trends and identify new grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
• Prepare grant proposals and support the application process
• Review grant applications and budgets for compliance and feasibility
• Ensure adherence to donor policies and grant requirements
• Lead sub-award management and oversight of funded programs
• Utilize grant management tools and systems for effective administration

Monitoring, Evaluation & Compliance

• Support monitoring and evaluation activities to measure program impact
• Conduct data analysis to track funding performance and outcomes
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and record-keeping
• Support external audits and ensure organizational compliance
• Stay updated on donor guidelines and regulatory requirements

Capacity Strengthening & Training

• Provide grant management training to staff and partner organizations
• Offer hands-on support services in Finance, Human Resources, Logistics, and Administration
• Strengthen organizational capacity across partner networks
