Budget & Cost Control Supervisor at Hobark International Limited (HIL)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Budget & Cost Control Supervisor to join our team. This role involves identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring various financial risks associated with operations and assets. You will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of financial planning and cost control strategies
• Lead the development of annual operating and capital budgets
• Coordinate input gathering and present budget proposals to senior management
• Establish and implement cost control frameworks and guidelines
• Track actual expenditures against budgets, identify variances, and propose corrective actions

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Professional certification: ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or CIMA (required)
• Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage

Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control within the upstream oil and gas sector
• Proven track record of managing budgets for large-scale projects and operational expenses
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
