## Title: Branch Manager – Microfinance
Role Summary
The Branch Manager will drive business growth, profitability, risk control, and operational excellence within the branch, while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute branch business strategy to meet loan, deposit, and revenue targets
- Drive deposit mobilization, credit growth, and product cross-selling
- Manage loan processing, monitoring, and recovery; maintain PAR ≤ 5%
- Ensure compliance with CBN regulations, KYC, AML/CFT, and internal controls
- Oversee daily branch operations and service delivery standards
- Identify and mitigate credit and operational risks
- Lead and develop staff; manage performance and discipline processes
- Build customer and community partnerships to grow market share
- Monitor branch performance and submit accurate periodic reports
- Improve processes and support digital and operational transformation initiatives
Key Performance Indicators
- ≥90% loan and deposit target achievement
- PAR ≤ 5%
- ≥85% customer retention
- Profitability targets met
- ≥95% recovery on performing loans
- 100% compliance and reporting timeliness
- ≥99% reporting accuracy
- Strong audit and internal control ratings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
- 5–7 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Solid knowledge of microfinance operations, credit, and regulation
- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
