About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to lead and drive the performance of the Branch in line with targets set by the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive branch performance in alignment with bank targets
• Generate deposit liability budgets as directed by the bank
• Generate risk asset budgets as directed by the bank
• Generate Profit after Tax (PAT/PBT) budgets as directed by the bank
• Initiate and coordinate the development of branch strategies and marketing plans
• Prepare and implement plans for growing the client base
• Identify new business opportunities and high-value relationships for conversion to the bank's customer base
• Provide marketing support through joint calls with team members to deepen relationships and bridge knowledge gaps
• Network with potential clients in the locality to increase customer base
• Manage and deepen relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Develop and maintain high standards of customer relationship management at the branch
• Ensure zero tolerance for inactive and dormant accounts
• Ensure effective relationship management with new and existing customers to improve deposit liability growth and mix
• Appraise risk assets and monitor their disbursement
• Ensure efficient service delivery and maintenance of customer relationships
• Manage all branch staff to achieve increased value creation, business volume, and enhanced profitability
• Create and sustain a team culture that encourages quality service delivery and high performance
• Ensure branch operating costs remain within approved budget

Required Qualifications

• First degree in any discipline
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIBN, or CFA
