About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lagos. As a Bookstore Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, organizing displays, and processing transactions. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Restock shelves and maintain organized product displays
- Assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory systems and conduct stock counts
- Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
- Coordinate with team members to support store operations
Required Qualifications
- Completed NYSC
- Previous experience in retail or bookstore settings
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in inventory management and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to process transactions
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for books and reading
