About the Role

An established company is seeking an experienced Boiler Operator to join their team in Ota, Ogun.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, steam lines, and auxiliary equipment
• Carry out routine inspections, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on boilers and related systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies
• Monitor water treatment systems, fuel usage, steam pressure, and temperature to ensure efficient boiler operation
• Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate timely repairs
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of boiler operations, maintenance, and performance
• Support production by ensuring continuous steam supply with minimal downtime
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on improvement projects for energy efficiency and cost reduction

Required Qualifications & Experience

• ND / HND / B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as a Boiler Operator in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of boiler operation, water treatment, combustion systems, and safety protocols
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and operational guidelines
• FMCG/food industry experience is an advantage
