Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans covering biological topics, from cell function to genetics
• Supervise and guide students through science experiments, ensuring safety and proper procedures
• Evaluate student progress through various assessment methods, including grading assignments, tests, and lab work
• Provide individual support to students, monitor their academic progress, and communicate with parents regarding performance and concerns
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation
• Stay current with advancements in biology and teaching methods through professional development, conferences, and colleague collaboration
• Assist in developing and improving teaching materials and the overall biology program

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Science, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification
• Previous experience as a science or biology teacher is beneficial
