Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Belt Jointer to join our team. You will be responsible for joining, repairing, and maintaining conveyor belts used in production and material handling systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hot and cold vulcanizing of conveyor belts
• Cut, shape, and splice belts according to specifications
• Inspect belts for wear, damage, or misalignment
• Install belt fasteners, clips, and laggings where necessary
• Ensure conveyors run smoothly after maintenance or joining
• Maintain records of belt repairs and replacements
• Follow safety protocols during belt joining operations

Requirements

• Technical Certificate or Trade Test in Mechanical or related field
• 3–5 years of practical experience in conveyor belt jointing, vulcanizing, and repair within an industrial or mining environment
• Good knowledge of belt alignment, splicing methods (hot and cold), and safety procedures during maintenance
