We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineering Tutor who can teach, mentor, and inspire students to become strong backend developers capable of building robust, scalable, and secure systems. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive online lessons covering backend fundamentals, frameworks, and system design
• Teach programming languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Express.js, Python (Django/Flask), or related stacks
• Guide students through real-world projects, from API design to deployment
• Introduce best practices in RESTful API design, authentication, and data security
• Mentor students in database design (SQL and NoSQL) and query optimization
• Help learners understand server management, scalability, and cloud deployment basics
• Review assignments and provide constructive technical feedback
• Collaborate with curriculum designers to refine content and learning objectives
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and project execution sessions
• Foster an encouraging, professional learning environment that promotes growth and teamwork

Required Technical Competencies

• Backend development using Node.js/Express or Python/Django/Flask
• Database systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase
• API architecture and integrations (REST, GraphQL optional)
• Authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, Passport.js, etc.)
• Version control and collaboration using Git and GitHub
• Server management and deployment (Heroku, Render, AWS, or DigitalOcean)
• Error handling, logging, and debugging techniques
• Environment management and modular code organization

Additional Skills (Highly Advantageous)

• Familiarity with Docker or container-based deployments
