About the Role
A fast-growing chemical distribution company is expanding its regional sales team and seeking experienced sales professionals to drive business growth across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve targets
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across diverse industries
- Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers including procurement managers and plant heads
- Conduct customer visits, deliver technical presentations, and provide post-sale support
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain competitive advantage
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth product deliveries and documentation
- Maintain accurate sales reports and pipelines using CRM and Excel tools
Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Marketing, or related field
- 4–5 years of proven sales experience in industrial or specialty chemicals
- Solid product knowledge including IPA, Toluene, Acetone, MPG, and similar chemicals
- Established network within relevant sectors (FMCG, paints, adhesives, cosmetics, industrial manufacturing, packaging, personal care)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and reporting skills
Ideal Background
Prior experience at major chemical distributors is highly valued. Candidates with strong B2B sales backgrounds in sectors such as FMCG, packaging, personal care, and industrial manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive monthly salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 (negotiable based on experience)
