Audit Manager at Coleman Technical Industries Limited

Job Purpose

The Audit Manager will play a strategic role in assessing and enhancing the effectiveness of the organization's production efficiency, risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and lead internal audit engagements in accordance with the bi-annual audit plan and professional audit standards
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management systems
• Identify business process improvement opportunities and recommend corrective measures to strengthen operational efficiency and compliance
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations for management and the Audit Committee
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, accounting standards (IFRS), and internal policies
• Support the development and monitoring of enterprise risk management (ERM) initiatives
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior auditors, providing professional guidance and performance feedback
• Follow up on audit findings and management action plans to ensure timely implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess control implications of new business processes, systems, and technologies
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal audit methodologies and practices

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Accounting or other numerate disciplines
• Professional Certification: Member of ICAN or ACCA (mandatory)
• Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in internal/external audit, risk management, or managerial accounting
