About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking experienced legal talent to join our corporate and commercial practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse commercial matters, regulatory advisory, and transaction-related work within a hybrid practice model.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including shareholder agreements, service contracts, memoranda of understanding, and non-disclosure agreements
• Advise clients on corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, company secretarial matters, and general business advisory
• Conduct legal due diligence, company incorporations, restructuring, and transaction advisory work
• Provide advice on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, and investment transactions
• Engage with regulators including CAC, SEC, NIPC, and NOTAP
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions
• Participate in client meetings, manage client relationships, and support business development efforts
• Assist with litigation and dispute resolution matters as applicable

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–5 years post-call experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department with a strong corporate commercial focus
• 2:1 or First Class degree from a recognized university and Law School
• Demonstrable experience in corporate transactions, regulatory advisory, and commercial documentation
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and commercial awareness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal tech tools
