About the Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will own your state market and drive significant sales growth while expanding distribution across your territory. You'll be responsible for achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets, strengthening relationships with key partners, and representing the company professionally throughout your region.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and expand distribution throughout your assigned state market
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets (cartons sold and revenue generated)
- Strengthen relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors
- Identify and capture new business opportunities to grow brand presence
- Monitor stock flow and ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Represent the company professionally in your territory
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7 years of proven FMCG sales experience with strong track record of results in your state
- Established relationships with distributors, retailers, and food outlets
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Demonstrated market development capabilities
- Proficiency with smartphone tools, Google Sheets, and CRM systems
- Resilient, proactive, and results-driven mindset
