About the Role
An established company is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations across the North region. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to establish a strong market presence for the company's product lines across all key customer segments in your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to establish effective market presence for product lines across open markets, labs, pharmacies, patent medicine vendors, and institutions in the territory
- Source new customers and manage relationships with existing clients to ensure consistent customer growth
- Conduct competitive intelligence gathering to maintain knowledge of competitive activities and marketing strategies
- Ensure regular reconciliation of customer accounts
- Lead and supervise a sales team to achieve territory targets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in sciences (Human Anatomy, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related field)
- Minimum seven years of medical sales and supervisory experience
- Current residence in the intended location with at least five years of work experience in the territory
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive vehicles
- Age less than 45 years
