Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager / Territory Sales In-Charge (ASM/TSI) to drive primary sales in Enugu. The role involves managing distributor relationships, leading Sales Executives, achieving sales targets, and developing strategies to grow market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets by SKU/variant within the territory
- Lead, guide, and monitor Sales Executives to deliver on set quotas
- Build and maintain strong distributor and customer relationships
- Track competitor activities and recommend counter-strategies
- Provide regular sales reports and market insights to management
- Develop and implement sales initiatives to improve brand awareness
- Identify new business opportunities and optimize territory performance
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in sales with team-handling responsibility
- Bachelor's degree in any field (sales/marketing background preferred)
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with sales tracking tools (e.g., SFA software)
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory
