Agency and Channels Officer at Benin Electricity Distribution Plc. (BEDC)

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Benin Electricity Distribution Plc. (BEDC) as an Agency and Channels Officer, based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support to all Agency Channels on technical and financial concerns
• Track agency channel revenue collection and sales performance across all BEDC franchise states
• Facilitate resolution of technical and transaction-related issues across all agency channel platforms with Backend
• Monitor and manage all agency collection-based wallets to ensure adequate funding
• Monitor daily uptime across all agency channels to ensure operational continuity
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to the line manager
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Supervisor to support departmental objectives

Required Qualifications

• BEng, BSc, or HND in Social Sciences, Engineering, or Analytical Sciences
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in this role or related roles

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of payment systems, wallets, API integrations, and reconciliation processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong data interpretation and reporting skills (Microsoft Office tools, Power BI, SQL)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
