About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
• Ensure bank reconciliation with cash book ledger on a monthly basis
• Manage general ledgers, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and posted
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Support and coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Prepare financial information and documentation for tax filings and regulatory agencies
• Post customer and supplier invoices in real-time on a timely basis

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
• ICAN or ACCA membership
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry or FMCG sector
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and interacting with stakeholders
• Proficiency in accounting software and potentially ERP systems (e.g., Sage 300, QuickBooks)

Salary

₦400,000 - ₦550,000 per month
