Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and trustworthy Head Accountant to lead our accounting operations. The ideal candidate must possess strong financial management skills, with a keen ability to establish controls and monitoring systems that will prevent theft and ensure accountability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Monitor cash flow, account reconciliation, payroll, vendor payments, and revenue tracking
• Lead efforts to identify and eliminate internal theft, fraud, and wastage
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Supervise and train accounting and support staff
• Conduct regular audits and surprise checks across operational units
• Provide financial forecasts, budgeting, and cost analysis to management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with operations management to align financial practices with business goals
