Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage and oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory regulations, and support management in making informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
• Monitor and manage company cash flow and budget to optimize financial performance
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Support management with financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Stay updated with changes in accounting laws, practices, and industry trends
• Provide guidance and financial insights to other departments to improve efficiency and profitability

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Odoo, or SAP) and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
