Account Officer - FMCG Industry

About the Role

Brands and Trade Limited is seeking an experienced Account Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This role is crucial in maintaining our financial operations and supporting strategic business decisions across the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support audits with required documentation
• Maintain financial databases and optimize accounting systems
• Support cross-departmental financial alignment and provide strategic financial recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, ideally in the FMCG industry
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP or QuickBooks)
• Strong Excel skills and financial reporting expertise
