Workshop Engineer at Pragmatic Technologies

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure that all products are repaired and maintained according to established company procedures, while providing excellent technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair inverter boards, AVR units, and other electrical/electronic devices up to PCB level using soldering equipment
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on inverters and related products
• Attend to and resolve all customer complaints related to technical faults
• Receive incoming defective products from the RMA officer
• Verify and inspect returned products to confirm defects
• Diagnose products to identify faults and propose appropriate solutions
• Clarify fault details with customers when necessary before proceeding with repairs
• Execute repairs based on diagnosis and any additional issues discovered
• Document all parts used during repairs for billing purposes
• Test repaired products to verify proper functionality
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum OND/NABTEB or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• 2–4 years of relevant and progressive experience in electrical/electronic repair
• Proficient business communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong business ethics and integrity
