Website Designer - Datalex Nigeria Limited, Lagos

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Position Overview:

• We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and result-driven Website Designer to join our growing digital team.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing, user-friendly, and high-performing websites for clients across various industries.

• This role requires a strong blend of creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of digital marketing principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress and other relevant platforms

• Create engaging website layouts, landing pages, and UI/UX designs

• Customize themes, plugins, and website functionalities to meet client requirements

• Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness

• Collaborate with digital marketing and content teams to deliver client goals

• Maintain, update, and manage client websites, including renewals and hosting support

• Troubleshoot website issues and provide technical support when required

• Ensure websites meet security, accessibility, and usability standards

Education: al Qualifications

• Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related field

• Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage

Experience:

• 2–4 years proven experience in website design and development

• Portfolio of completed websites is mandatory

• Experience working with SMEs and corporate clients is an advantage

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in WordPress website design and customization

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

• Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, or similar)

• Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design

• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices

• Ability to use design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop

• Good communication and time-management skills
