Warehouse Officer at Taiwo Supermarket

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Warehouse Officer. In this role, you will assist the warehouse manager in coordinating daily warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will ensure accurate inventory management, timely deliveries, compliance with safety standards, and overall operational efficiency to support the supply chain.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate mental and physical alertness, with the ability to effectively manage internal and external customer needs and execute all warehouse-related tasks promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the warehouse manager in carrying out daily warehouse operations tasks
• Receive goods from suppliers and conduct quality checks before acceptance
• Identify non-available items and send requests to the procurement department for Request for Quotation (RFQ) and purchase
• Endorse Goods Received Notes (GRN) for all materials received and ensure correct material and quantity issuance, with updated warehouse inventory
• Generate part numbers for new materials not on the system and ensure accurate material and quantity issuance
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of issued and received materials within 48 hours
• Ensure stock card, physical inventory, and system balances are aligned and that received items match Local Purchase Order (LPO) specifications
• Coordinate inventory stock counts and spot checks
• Adhere to company warehouse processes and procedures
• Maintain strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and safe work methods
• Perform additional duties as assigned by line manager

Requirements

• Minimum HND or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant field
• Professional certification in Supply Chain Management (or currently pursuing)
