Warehouse & Logistics Manager - Ojodu Berger / OPIC at Iknorbert Communications Limited

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager for our operations located in the Ojodu-Berger/OPIC area of Lagos State. This role combines warehouse management with logistics coordination to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations across all locations.

Warehouse Management Responsibilities

• Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations, regulatory compliance, and management satisfaction
• Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and delivery of goods, materials, and products, optimizing warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflow to maximize space utilization and productivity
• Supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, loaders, and offloaders, providing leadership, direction, and training to ensure high performance and productivity
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment activities through regular cycle counts, audits, and inventory checks to maintain accurate records and prevent stockouts or overstocking
• Implement inventory management techniques such as ABC analysis, FIFO/LIFO, and batch tracking to prioritize inventory, minimize loading and offloading costs, and optimize stock levels
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, security protocols, and workplace health standards through regular safety inspections, training sessions, and emergency drills

Logistics Management Responsibilities

• Manage logistics processes including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment to optimize resource utilization, minimize costs, and meet branch demands
• Plan and coordinate logistics operations including transportation, distribution, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment to meet branch requirements and delivery schedules
• Manage transportation activities including transporter selection, routing, scheduling, and cost negotiation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to all branches
