Voip/Network Engineer - BroadBased Communications, Lagos

Position Overview

We are seeking an inspired and driven VoIP/Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our VoIP systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance system capabilities, and support the continuous improvement of our communication networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing VoIP networks and computer systems
• Develop architecture plans for voice and data services
• Install network hardware modules including IP and PBX communication servers
• Design and implement Cisco Unity systems
• Analyze and upgrade network security systems and protocols
• Add network users and manage company permissions

Required Qualifications and Requirements

• Relevant degree or qualifications in the field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and critical thinking abilities with effective problem-solving skills
• High learning agility and ability to work in fast-paced environments
• In-depth knowledge of VoIP systems and IP protocols
• Knowledge of hardware systems including servers, memory modules, processors, and peripherals
• Detailed knowledge of network security systems and software
• Familiarity with WAN and LAN systems
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for VoIP network issues
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good working knowledge of Linux
