Vetting Officer - Hoganguards Limited, Lagos

The Vetting Officer will conduct thorough background checks and verify the credentials and suitability of security personnel. This role requires field mobility using a motorbike, strong attention to detail, and collaboration with HR and operations teams to maintain high standards of security and personnel reliability. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive background checks and vetting of recruits, staff, clients, and contractors.

• Perform field verification and inspections using a motorbike for efficient mobility.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate vetting records and prepare timely reports.

• Collaborate with internal departments for smooth information flow and operational support.

• Assist in investigations and audits related to staff integrity and compliance.

Requirements: & Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc./HND qualification.

• Proven experience in security vetting, verification, or related roles is an advantage.

• Ability to ride a motorbike confidently.

• Knowledge of local areas for effective field operations.

• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism.

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

• Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts.
