Utility Supervisor at Multipro Consumer Products Limited

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Utility Supervisor in Ota, Ogun.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation, maintenance, and performance of all utility systems including boilers, air compressors, chillers, water treatment plants, generators, and HVAC systems
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for utility equipment
• Monitor utility usage and ensure efficiency in energy and resource consumption
• Lead troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and resolution of equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations governing utility operations
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure reliable utility supply to all plant operations
• Supervise, train, and mentor utility technicians and operators to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures
• Maintain accurate records and reports of utility operations, consumption data, and maintenance activities
• Drive continuous improvement projects in energy efficiency, sustainability, and system reliability

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: ND, HND, or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in utility operations and maintenance within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of boiler operations, compressed air systems, cooling towers, refrigeration units, and power generation systems
• Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance practices
• Familiarity with safety standards, environmental regulations, and energy management systems
