Role Overview
- As a Trading Manager, you’ll support the CEO directly with day-to-day activities such as pricing, trade execution, market research, and risk monitoring.
- This is a learning role — you’ll be exposed to how professional traders think, how deals get done, and how regulations shape the market.
- Sourcing for Export clients with a need to convert USD to Naira
- Executing FX Trades
- Track market rates and prepare daily reports.
- Help analyze trade data to spot patterns and risks.
- Support liquidity and settlement processes.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, CBN rules, and relevant stakeholders in the market.
- Liaise with compliance officers- FIRS, CBN
- Any other responsibility as assigned by the CEO
- Someone with at least five years’ experience as a contract staff member in a bank
- Someone with knowledge of fund transfer within a bank
- Strong interest in generating reports
- Strong interest in financial markets and trading.
- Good with numbers and problem-solving.
- Basic Excel skills (Python or coding is a plus, not required).
- Curious, hardworking, and willing to learn fast.
- Direct exposure to Nigeria’s FX markets.
- Mentorship from experienced traders.
- Practical skills that go beyond the classroom.
