TPM Engineer (Mechanical)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Engineer to implement, monitor, and sustain TPM initiatives across our plant. This role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes unplanned downtime, and drives continuous improvement in plant performance, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement TPM strategies for all mechanical equipment and production lines
• Lead Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Planned Maintenance (PM) activities across departments
• Analyze equipment breakdown data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance schedules for mechanical assets
• Train and coach operators and technicians on TPM principles and machine care
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
• Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure alignment of TPM initiatives
• Maintain proper documentation and report KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and OEE performance
• Support spare parts management by providing input on critical spares and consumption trends
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards

Required Qualifications

Education

• B.Eng / B.Sc / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Certification in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Reliability Engineering (advantageous)

Experience

• 3–6 years of maintenance/TPM experience in steel manufacturing, heavy engineering, or process industry environment
