Main Functions
Develop and deliver technical training programs that enhance professional skills and competencies. Serve as a key interface between training curriculum subject matter experts (SMEs), the broader training organization, and governance councils. Responsible for developing global curriculum to ensure proper training plans and roadmaps are established within functional support areas related to SCORR (Safety, Compliance, Operational, Regulatory, and Required) training essential for safe, environmentally responsible, reliable, and efficient operation of Production, Manufacturing, and Midstream assets and organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills when collaborating with line management and governing bodies (PLC, MLC, TLC, SSHELC, etc.) on applying Global Operations Training system requirements
- Establish, certify, and track compliance with SCORR training and skills development within manufacturing, operations, and support organizations
- Work directly with Training Supervisors to ensure site training plans comply with and meet the expectations of governing councils and best practices
- Define final training product requirements in concert with various subject matter experts and Competency and Training Advisors to ensure global training objectives are met
- Provide support on instructional system design (ISD) to ensure learning management systems support competency and training best practices and processes (e.g., GOTS, GMT)
- Optimize and develop database systems to support training and competency management
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in technical training and development
- Solid technical aptitude and proficiency
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience with training curriculum development and compliance tracking
