Technical Storekeeper at Eko Maintenance Limited

Position Overview

An established company is recruiting for a Technical Storekeeper to manage inventory operations and maintain accurate stock records across all stored items.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain meticulous records of all items in the store, ensuring accuracy and completeness in inventory management
• Administer stored items with care and caution, following established procedures and guidelines
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock and efficient utilization of resources
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to verify inventory levels and address discrepancies promptly
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill internal requisitions and external customer orders accurately and on time
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the storage area to uphold high standards of hygiene and workplace safety
• Utilize computerized inventory management systems to track stock movements, generate reports, and analyse trends for informed decision-making
• Provide support during inventory counts, reconciliations, and year-end audits to maintain data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in an Engineering-related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in a similar industry
• Technical storekeeping experience with wide knowledge of plumbing parts, electrical parts, mechanical parts, and related components
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure inventory accuracy
• Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems and MS Office applications for data entry, analysis, and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for handling and storing various types of items, including hazardous materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
