About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. This role combines technical expertise in oilfield fishing services with a strong ability to drive business growth. You will be responsible for building and managing client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs while supporting our company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities to drive revenue growth and market share
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular engagement and account management
- Apply technical knowledge of fishing tools and services to recommend effective solutions
- Stay up to date on competitor products, pricing, and market trends
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Support, Operations, Finance) to deliver seamless customer solutions
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer profiles, opportunity pipeline, and visit reports
- Provide accurate forecasts on sales activities and revenue performance
- Support receivables management and contract lifecycle management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years experience in technical sales or operations within the oil & gas industry, with a strong focus on fishing services
- Strong technical knowledge of fishing tools, downhole services, and well intervention
- Proven sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and industry-specific software
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or professional sales certification
