## Title: Technical Sales Engineer

About the Role

The Technical Sales Engineer will drive business growth through technical expertise, client engagement, and strategic sales efforts. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining client relationships, identifying opportunities, generating leads, closing deals, and ensuring business regeneration. The successful candidate will bridge technical and sales functions, delivering tailored solutions in Transportation Systems and Electrical and Automation Solutions to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Opportunity Identification

  • Conduct detailed market research to identify potential clients, industries, and geographical areas for services
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Build a database of potential clients, partners, and projects

Lead Generation, Prospecting and Relationship Management

  • Develop and execute robust lead generation strategies, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking
  • Qualify leads to ensure alignment with company capabilities and target market
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering excellent pre-sales and post-sales support, driving repeat business and referrals

Technical Consultation and Solution Presentation

  • Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to gain a deep understanding of company offerings
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations tailored to client requirements
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts in a simplified manner to clients

Sales Pipeline Management

  • Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline to track leads from prospecting to deal closure
  • Regularly report sales progress, performance metrics, and market insights to management
  • Identify and resolve potential roadblocks in the sales cycle

Negotiation and Deal Closure

  • Skillfully negotiate terms and close deals to achieve sales targets
