Technical Production Manager (Events) at Strivo Labs

About the Role

Strivo Labs is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Technical Production Manager to oversee technical planning and execution for all events and productions. This role ensures world-class delivery of audiovisuals, staging, lighting, rigging, and technical operations across events and activations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Planning & Event Execution

• Lead end-to-end technical production for events, conferences, concerts, and activations
• Create and manage technical plans, cue sheets, equipment lists, and production documents
• Supervise setup, rehearsals, live show operations, and breakdown

Equipment & Vendor Coordination

• Manage sound, lighting, LED screens, staging, rigging, and power distribution equipment
• Liaise with technical vendors, ensuring high-quality service and timely delivery
• Oversee equipment maintenance, safety checks, and troubleshooting

Production Management & Collaboration

• Collaborate with event teams, creative units, and production managers to align technical needs
• Conduct site inspections, technical assessments, and pre-production planning
• Ensure all technical aspects meet compliance, safety, and performance standards

Team Leadership & On-site Supervision

• Lead and supervise technical crews, freelancers, and onsite technicians
• Provide direction, training, and performance oversight
• Ensure seamless technical coordination during live events

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years hands-on experience in technical event production
• Strong knowledge of audio engineering, lighting systems, LED operations, rigging, staging, and event tech
• Ability to manage large-scale productions and multiple events simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and on-site decision-making skills
• Excellent planning, organisational, and communication abilities
