Technical Manager (Mall)

About the Role

Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a qualified Technical Manager to oversee the operations of mall and residential complexes. In this role, you will manage utilities, machinery, manpower, and security while ensuring smooth facility operations and high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mall and residential complex operations including utilities, machines, manpower allocation, and overall security monitoring
• Prepare and maintain manpower reports, weekly reports, and other documentation
• Coordinate with local vendors and technical service providers
• Monitor daily activities, manage help desk operations, and liaise with client facilitators to ensure high-quality facility management
• Negotiate pricing with vendors, certify bills for contractors, and execute projects with the in-house engineering team
• Implement process enhancements and quality control techniques
• Operate and manage Building Management Systems (BMS) and interface with HVAC, firefighting, electrical switchgear, and other utilities
• Maintain HT and LT systems, diesel generator sets, power transformers, and electrical panels
• Manage HVAC chiller plants, VRV systems, air handling units (AHU), fan and filter units (FAU), chiller pumps with variable frequency drives (VFD), and cold rooms of various capacities
• Monitor all mechanical installation work, including sewage treatment plants (STP) and water treatment plants (WTP)
• Oversee industrial kitchen extraction systems, cold rooms, and refrigeration equipment
• Maintain plumbing systems, treatment plants, ring main systems, booster pumps, transfer pumps, sump pumps, and WTP facilities
• Maintain firefighting systems including sprinklers, hose reels, wet risers, and fire pumps (diesel, jockey, and electric) in compliance with government regulations and standards
• Coordinate CCTV systems, public address systems, access control, and video door phone installations and maintenance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (H.N.D) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience
• Prior experience in the facility management or mall operations industry is an added advantage
• Strong communication skills
