## Title: Technical Facility Manager

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Technical Facility Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily operations and maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the facility is in optimal condition and address maintenance issues in a timely manner
  • Prevent facility breakdowns and ensure optimal utilization of resources
  • Implement and enforce high-level maintenance, health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a secure environment for residents
  • Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, maintenance, and capital projects
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to address potential crises and ensure resident safety
  • Perform other responsibilities typical of a Technical Facility Manager

Requirements

  • HND or B.Sc. in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (individuals with other certificates of proficiency and/or cognate experience are encouraged to apply)
  • Proven minimum of 1 year of experience in facility management
  • Experience handling daily operations and maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Flexibility to work extra hours when required
  • Available for immediate resumption (applicants unable to resume immediately should not apply)
