Technical Coordinator, Regenerative Agriculture (RA)

About the Role

The Technical Coordinator for Regenerative Agriculture coordinates and leads the Regenerative Agriculture team, consisting of at least a Program Officer and/or Senior Program Officer. Working in coordination with other Strategic Focus Areas, you will carry out program activities that contribute to the implementation of regenerative agriculture using a value-chain extension approach.

This position reports to the Country Director and Deputy Country Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of Regenerative Agriculture program workplans (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and budgets; lead the development of partnerships
• Conduct, analyze, and report on crop productivity extension needs assessments and contribute to baseline surveys in selected sites in collaboration with other themes and partners
• Analyze and develop extension models to promote value chains in selected sites
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and conduct training on Regenerative Agriculture for Subject Matter Specialists (SMSs), Development Agents (DAs), and farmers, with special attention to women, youth, and persons with disabilities (PwDs)
• Analyze the technical performance and economic viability of SAA extension models to contribute to strategic focus areas, particularly sustainable intensification, soil health, and crop productivity
• Develop Regenerative Agriculture training materials for use by trainers and farmers under the guidance of the Country Director and Deputy Country Director
• Source, package, implement, and manage Regenerative Agricultural technologies and programs, including monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion of activities
• Identify and work with relevant stakeholders, including policymakers and government officials, in monitoring and implementation of extension model development
• Promote value-chain extension services aligned with Regenerative Agriculture activities and provide timely feedback to staff and partners
