Team Member - Financial Institutions

Job Purpose

To manage Financial Institutions relationships and drive growth of the balance sheet within the Financial Institutions Department.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Grow the assets and liabilities of the Financial Institutions Department as defined by the Bank
• Ensure financial, business and strategic goals are executed and targets are achieved
• Deepen existing customer relationships in the Bank's books
• Generate new revenue streams by exploring new market niches and introducing new products
• Resolve customer complaints to foster customer retention
• Manage all correspondences pertaining to Financial Institutions
• Perform other duties as assigned by Group Head - Financial Institutions

Key Performance Indicators

• Department revenue as measured by Fincon
• Business volume growth rate (Deposits and Loans)
• Percentage variance in budgeted revenue
• Quality of credit portfolio
• Number of new Financial Institutions relationships won during the period
• Customer satisfaction index
• Number of accounts lost during the period
• Number of complaints received on accounts during the period
• Satisfactory audit reports
• Zero sanctions from routine regulatory examinations, audits, and spot checks

Minimum Educational Qualifications

• First Degree or equivalent

Professional Qualifications

The following qualifications are advantageous:

• ACCA
• ICAN
• CIIN
• CITN
• CFA
• SEC Certification

Required Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge and understanding of local and international financial markets and major players in the non-bank financial institutions space
• Thorough understanding of the regulatory environment for non-bank financial institutions
• Strong personal relationships among financial market regulators
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
