## Title: Team Lead, Learning and Consulting

About the Role

The Team Lead, Learning and Consulting role exists to provide strategic direction and functional leadership to the Learning and Consulting Department at the Institute. This position drives efficiency and effectiveness in achieving departmental and organizational objectives.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Business Management and Development

  • Develop strategies to achieve the vision and mission of the Institute's Learning & Consulting Department in becoming a reference point in learning programme development and delivery, and for the transfer of learning to both internal and external customers in all aspects of Management, Leadership and Human Resources
  • Set strategic goals, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures in line with the Institute's Strategic Objectives to enhance return on learning & consulting investment and enhance the Institute's profile
  • Identify and drive new business initiatives, boost sales and profit levels, and oversee the Department's financial performance for departmental profitability and financial sustainability

Learning Design, Development and Administration

  • Develop and manage the Institute's learning events and professional development programs, including Mandatory Continuous Professional Education (MCPE) and other flagship learning events
  • Ensure development of enhanced programs for professional development of HR practitioners and articulate the value proposition to prospective participants
  • Work closely with client organizations to design bespoke learning programs that meet business needs and organizational objectives

Requirements

  • BSc. Degree in Human Resources Management, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field
  • Professional membership of CIPM is compulsory
  • Master's degree (MBA, M.Ed., or MSc in HR/Organizational Development or related field)
