Tally Accountan at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

Ascentech Services Limited seeks a detail-oriented and experienced Tally Accountant to manage and maintain accurate financial records for our agro-allied operations. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Tally ERP software, strong accounting knowledge, and familiarity with financial processes within the agro-allied or related manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records using Tally ERP
• Prepare, verify, and post accounting entries related to sales, purchases, payments, and receipts
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers regularly
• Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets
• Track inventory and ensure proper valuation in coordination with the store and production departments
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Support statutory compliance such as VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory filings
• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and company records

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience in the agro-allied, FMCG, or manufacturing sector
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 (or newer versions) is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

N200,000 per month
